The first center was opened in South Wales in Newport and in the year 2018, the center becomes the first to treat the patient with high energy proton beam therapy. In 2018, the South wales center was approved by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee (WHSSC) to treat the patients with high energy proton beam therapy.
