A brain tumor is a cellular growth in the brain which multiplies in an abnormal and uncontrollable pattern. A brain tumor is graded according to their growth rate and their relapse after the treatment. Grade one and two are the low-grade tumors, while grade three and four are the high grades. A brain tumor is of two types:
Non-cancerous brain tumor: These are the low-grade ones, that is they grow slowly, and they are fewer chances they will return after treatment.
Cancerous (malignant) brain tumor: These are the high-grade ones and they may start from the brain or may have spread into the brain from somewhere else, that is like a secondary tumor.
