Advanced Diagnostic and Treatment Infrastructure: The comprehensive diagnostic facility has several laboratories for haematology, microbiology, immunology, and chemistry (pathology), a blood transfusion unit, and a fully equipped department of diagnostic radiology. The department of radiology includes multiple modalities, including MRI, CT scanning, mammography, and digital X-ray services.
Nuclear Medicine and Imaging: The unit of nuclear medicine at our facility includes a PET-CT scanner and a gamma camera and provides radioactive Iodine therapy to enable very precise cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy monitoring.
Surgical Oncology Unit: The surgical oncology unit is an extremely advanced facility that provides a comprehensive range of surgeries for breast reconstruction, gastrointestinal oncology, gynecologic oncology, urogenital oncology, neurosurgery, and head and neck surgery.
Total Capacity and Staff: Shefa Al Orman has a total capacity of 350 beds for inpatient care and 30 beds in the intensive care unit (ICU), and treats over 8,000 patients annually. 1,500 healthcare professionals provide compassionate oncology care.
