Professor Dr. Siegfried Block embarked on his pioneering career in cell treatment over six decades ago, initially studying under the esteemed Prof. Paul Niehans for an extended period. Since then, the Block family, now represented by D. Siegfried Block GmbH, has dedicated itself to developing personalized cell programs through their Laboratory Association. For over 60 years, they have operated state-of-the-art laboratories accredited with TUV and GMP certifications, adhering to the latest standards in the field.
The clinic is one of the few that provides lyophilized whole cells that have been individually manufactured and thoroughly dosed in an excellent laboratory. The clinic employs stem cells that are taken from its herd of over 700 strong race mountain sheep that are housed high in the highlands, well away from any harmful environmental impacts. The Bavarian Animal Health Service and the University of Giessen, Germany, conduct all animal health examinations.
Paul Niehans began his studies eight decades ago, and he is regarded as the founder of contemporary live cell treatment. He created a treatment that is currently widely used. Siegfried Block started employing cell therapy about 60 years ago after spending many years studying under Paul Niehans. Over the years, Dr. Siegfried Block continuously improved the process, broadened the range of uses for living cells, and eventually lyophilized whole cells.
