About Cutis Clinic

  • Founded in 1999, Cutis - The Skin Clinic stands as one of Egypt’s most respected institutions dedicated exclusively to dermatology and cosmetic skin care.
  • The clinic was established by Prof. Dr Abdel-Rahim Abdallah, a pioneering figure widely regarded as the Guru of Dermatology in Egypt and the Middle East.
  • From its inception, Cutis was designed to be the country’s first specialised medical institution focused solely on skin diseases and advanced cosmetic dermatology.
  • The clinic’s roots lie in strong academic excellence and clinical leadership.
  • Prof. Dr Abdel-Rahim Abdallah, a distinguished graduate of Ain Shams University’s Faculty of Medicine (1959), built a career spanning decades as a clinician, educator, and researcher.
  • With the continued support of Prof. Dr Marwa Abdallah, his vision evolved into a centre of excellence that elevated dermatology standards across Egypt.
  • Originally launched in Heliopolis, Cutis expanded steadily in response to growing patient demand.
  • The clinic attracted highly trained consultants and dermatologists who upheld rigorous academic and professional standards.
  • A major transformation occurred in 2006 under the leadership of Prof. Dr Mahmoud Abdallah, when the clinic upgraded its infrastructure and adopted advanced technologies.
  • During this period, large-scale laser dermatology treatments were introduced in Egypt, positioning Cutis at the forefront of innovation.
  • By 2008, Cutis had become Egypt’s most comprehensive dermatology clinic, offering a wide range of medical and cosmetic treatments delivered with modern, science-driven techniques.
  • Its educational impact earned it recognition as a national reference centre and a “school of dermatology.”
  • Continued expansion led to the opening of the Mohandesin branch in 2012, under the leadership of Dr Marwa Asaad, alongside the establishment of a clearly defined institutional vision and mission.
  • Today, Cutis remains committed to delivering advanced, evidence-based dermatological care.
  • Its long-term vision is to become the largest and most reputable skin care destination in the Middle East, providing everything from complex dermatological treatments to sophisticated cosmetic procedures while maintaining the highest standards of innovation, safety, and patient care.
