2. Endoscopic Thyroidectomy: Endoscopic thyroidectomy is a minimally invasive procedure that involves small incisions through which a video camera is inserted. The video camera guides the surgeon during the surgery.

  • Pre-Treatment: Consultation with an endocrine surgeon or ENT specialist. Physical and neurological examination. Imaging studies (ultrasound, CT scan if needed), fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), and blood tests
  • Treatment Approach: Partial, total, or complete thyroidectomy, depending on the disease. Procedure performed under general anaesthesia
