Nasal polyps are painless growths that grow from inside the nose or the sinuses (the hollow areas within the bones of the face). These growths are benign and not cancerous.
Small nasal polyps may not cause any symptoms. However, larger polyps or clusters can obstruct the nasal passages, leading to breathing difficulties, loss of smell, and infections.

Once the location of the nasal polyps is identified, specialized instruments such as a microdebrider (a tiny motorized revolving shaver) are used to grasp and remove the polyps effectively and safely.

The laser device then delivers laser energy at various power settings, starting at a low setting and gradually increasing until the polyps are successfully eliminated.
