A very rare, complex congenital heart disease, tetralogy of Fallot affects approximately 5 out of every 10,000 babies. It involves four different heart issues. - Resection of obstructive muscle beneath the pulmonary valve.

Typically, the operation lasts four to six hours. Hospitalisation usually lasts five to ten days, depending on complications and the patient's recovery rate.
