  • Destination Country : India

I am completely satisfied with the treating doctor and the outcome of the procedure. I am also truly grateful to Dr Manoj Miglani and his team at Fortis Hospital. The counseling approach of Dr. Manoj and his explanation of the pros and cons of the surgery before doing it is remarkable.
Thank you to MediGence from the bottom of my heart and especially so because I have been alone here in India and Medigence has helped me from the very beginning, from finding the right doctor, arranging my consultations, managing hospital visits, hotel stay, and airport transfers.

Introduction

33-year-old Christelle Nadege Ndebi from Cameroon was suffering from intense neck pain, pain radiating to her legs, stiff neck, and back pain. All this made it difficult for her to lift heavy objects and even be able to stand for extended time periods. She got in touch with representatives at MediGence who guided her to the best options possible and the advantages associated with them. Dr. Manoj Miglani at Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital in India guided her well during the initial consultations. Thereafter she felt confident enough to come to India to enable a proper diagnosis of the underlying condition and seek treatment for the same. The right diagnosis would ensure that she gets the most accurate treatment for her health issue. The patient traveled to India alone on 13 July 2021 and stayed in the hospital for 3 Days.

Pre-Treatment Process

The doctor asked her reconfirming questions regarding her condition and enabled some essential tests such as a physical examination and measuring the muscle strength and reflexes. Also, an MRI scan, an X-ray, a CT myelogram of the neck was done. The diagnosis was that Christelle Nadege Ndebi was suffering from C5-6 cervical myelopathy. Further to this, the doctor performed C5-6 Anterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion Surgery which was completed successfully without any complications.

Post Treatment process

The patient stayed for a period of two weeks in the country during her post-treatment recovery. Medigence organized follow-up consultation for the patient and assisted the patient by sharing a few stay options close to the hospital so that she could choose as per her budget. The end-to-end treatment process was enabled by the organization including Hospital Transfer Co-ordination, Airport Pick-up Coordination, and Hospital Appointment Coordination.
