Farha Ahmed underwent ATG based immunosuppressive therapy Bone Marrow Transplant

Farha Ahmed, a Pakistani national, needs ATG/BMT. This was a kind of challenge for him as treatment was related to his Aplastic Anemia. Pre-Treatment

Process

Ms Farha Ahmedâ€™s ATG/BMT( ATG is a mixture of polyclonal antibodies which were harvested from animal sources after an immunisation from human thymus or from a T cell line. ATG-based therapy can lead to an enduring hematopoietic response and increased overall survival (OS) in patients with acquired aplastic anaemia. The process was completed, and then she was transferred to the recovery room and kept under observation overnight. The Procedure was successful, and later she was shifted to her room the next day after spending one night in recovery. The room was well ventilated and had all amenities. The room service provided by the hospital was outstanding, with proper hygiene. She stayed for a week in the hospital. The nursing staff were so polite and they properly took care of her from room service to time to time. Her total stay in the country was for 6 months for the post consultation and follow-up meeting.

Post Treatment
