Orthopedic Workshop by Dr. Puneet Mishra, Fortis Hospital for Team MediGence

The team at MediGence is continuously evolving to get better with each passing day to reach deliver a patient experience like never before. To further help the team build on the existing knowledge base, an interactive session with Dr. Puneet Mishra, Joint Replacement Surgeon at Fortis Hospital in Shalimar Bagh, was planned recently.

The session was more of an interaction rather than a one-way flow of knowledge. The team, who directly or indirectly handle patient inquiries from around the world every day, asked questions about common orthopedic procedures to clear their doubts. At the end of the day, the intention of the session was to empower the people in the team with the knowledge that would enable them to assist patients looking for orthopedic treatment even better.

The light-hearted session lasted for about one and a half hours with the team talking about the patient’s apprehensions when it comes to joint replacement surgeries, the latest technology and modern approaches for orthopedic procedures, candidates for arthroplasty procedures and the most advanced implants available as of today.

By the end of the session, the team was more confident than ever before to better take up the role of a Medical Advisor to patients looking for orthopedic treatment abroad.
