  • From Country : Bangladesh
  • Destination Country : India
  • Procedure : In-toeing (Pediatric Ortho)
  • Hospital : Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi

Happy with the medical consultation and treatment provided to Adrita by Dr. Ramani. I highly appreciate the travel and treatment management provided to us by MediGence. They also took very good care of Adrita and we didn’t have to worry a bit about doctor appointments or any other operations.

6-Year-Old Adrita-E-Noor Ayat, a resident of Bangladesh, suffered from Intoeing, which turned her feet inward instead of straight as she walked or ran.

Intoeing, also known as Pigeon Toe or Duck Feet, is a painless medical condition affecting children below the age of 8 Years. This makes them walk or run with their feet turning inward instead of pointing straight.

This condition was a source of concern for Adrita’s parents which led her father, Md. Amin to look-up for options to get it medically examined. During his search online, he came across MediGence and submitted his query. MediGence Patient Advisory team got in touch with him and requested him to share all the medical reports of the child for evaluation.

After reviewing all the reports and understanding that it was a case of Pediatric Ortho, he was recommended Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, India for his child’s check-up under the care of Dr. Ramani Narsimha, Senior Consultant, Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. Dr. Ramani is one of the best Pediatric Orthopaedician in Delhi with an experience of more than 18 years.

Adrita arrived in Delhi on the 7th of December, 2019 accompanied by her family and went for her check-up and consultation with Dr. Narsimha on the next day. After her examination, Dr. Narsimha suggested her to undergo a few tests. The test reports revealed that the child is Vitamin D deficient. Dr. Ramani prescribed her medication for 6 months and told her parents that it will improve the condition and improve the symptoms of the child. He also confirmed that no surgery is required based on the examination and test evaluations.

Adrita’s parents were happy with the doctor’s consultation as well as the hospital facility, patient care, and services. They also appreciated how MediGence managed their overall medical travel and care provided to Adrita.

Adrita returned to Bangladesh with her family on the 17th of December, 2019.

Team MediGence wishes the child a very happy and healthy future.
