26-Years-Old, Mrs. Khaleda Akhter Sathi, national of Bangladesh, struggled with an irregular heartbeat, also known as arrhythmia.
Cardiac Arrhythmia is a medical condition characterized by irregular rate or rhythm of the heartbeat. In this condition, the heart either beats too quickly or too slowly or with an irregular pattern.
Mrs. Sathi visited the local doctors in her country for her check-up and investigations wherein she was suggested to undergo Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) along with Electrophysiology Study (EPS). EPS with RFA is a non-surgical procedure that is used to treat some types of rapid heart beating by eliminating areas of the heart that generate these abnormal heart rhythms, thus causing Cardiac Arrhythmia.
Mr. and Mrs. Sathi started looking online to get the best options for services and treatment when they came across MediGence. Mr. Sathi submitted his query on MediGence website form to get the options of treatment overseas and was contacted back by us in a quick turnaround.
Upon discussing Mrs. Sathi’s medical condition and considering India to be their preferred destination choice for her treatment, MediGence suggested Fortis Escorts Cardiac Institute in Delhi, India to them. Fortis Escorts Cardiac Institute is the premium heart hospital in India for heart diseases, cardiac surgery, open-heart surgery, cardiovascular diseases and valve replacement.
They were suggested Dr. Anil Saxena, Director, Cardiac Pacing & Electrophysiology at Fortis Escorts. Mr. and Mrs. Sathi was impressed by Dr. Saxena’s profile and finalized their plans to travel to New Delhi for the treatment.
Mrs. Sathi arrived in India on the 7th of November accompanied by her husband.
She went for the initial consultation with Dr. Anil Saxena on the 8th of November where she was advised some tests to confirm her body is fit to undergo the procedure. After receiving positive test results, the EPS and RFA Procedure was performed.
The procedure was conducted successfully. Both the patient and her husband were extremely happy and satisfied with the services, treatment and care they received from the hospital.
They also praised Medigence for the quick responsiveness, managing and ensuring a smooth patient journey. They particularly thanked Medigence for the visa assistance provided to them to facilitate their travel from Bangladesh to India.
