Aden, a 37-year-old American professional, was suffering from severe migraine headaches and their ability to control his life. He had gone from occasional headaches to being unable to function due to severe migraine headaches that kept him from doing his daily activities, performing up to his work standards, and caring for himself. While the migraines came out of nowhere and lasted for a long time, they were unusual, painful, exhausting, and left him feeling very tired. Over time, the irregularity of these headaches created a high level of anxiety because he never knew when the next episode would occur.
Aden was looking to explore treatment options for his chronic migraine condition, and while researching options for international treatment, Aden came into contact with MediGence, and through it Dr. Vishwas carefully went through Aden's medical history as well as his current symptoms to help him find treatment to alleviate Aden's migraine condition.
From the very first interaction with Dr. Vishwas, Aden had a strong feeling of comfort due to the clarity, responsiveness, and honesty of the guidance he received from him. He understood how overwhelming chronic migraine conditions can be, so he recommended that Aden obtain a comprehensive neurological evaluation in Turkey due to their world-class medical infrastructure and neurologists.
All travel and consultation arrangements were made so that Aden could focus entirely on his health. With confidence and hope, Aden flew to Turkey knowing that he was being supported at every step of his medical journey.
Aden travelled to Turkey from the United States of America on 21 December 2025. His medical evaluation was conducted at Hisar Hospital, a well-established facility that provides patient-centred medical care and advanced diagnostic capabilities. As part of his evaluation, Dr. Ahmad performed a very thorough clinical examination, in addition to completing an extensive review of all of Aden's lifestyle factors, stress patterns, and all of the various medications that he had tried in the past to alleviate his chronic migraine condition.
Instead of rushing into any aggressive medical treatment strategy, the physicians focused on understanding what was causing the severe level of chronic migraine condition that Aden was experiencing. Dr. Ahmad did a very good job of explaining the diagnosis of his chronic migraine condition to Aden in common layman's terms. He also reassured Aden with respect to the reasons why he was experiencing such an extensive level of chronic migraine pain.
After evaluation, Aden had been on an OPD basis with a personalised medication plan. The treatment objectives are to help reduce the number of overall migraines as well as the intensity of the pain and to be preventative against future episodes. Dr. Ahmad took time to explain how each medication of the personalised medication plan worked, why it was necessary to adhere to the regimen, and suggested changes in lifestyle that would support a full recovery.
The physician chose non-invasive treatment methods, which Aden preferred because he believed they were not only conservative but also supported by scientific evidence. The physician provided Aden with guidance on how to address triggers (e.g., stress, lack of sleep, dehydration) that may affect the treatment process. During the treatment process, Dr. Vishwas stayed in contact with Aden to ensure that he understood each step of the treatment plan and received emotional support from the physician, even though they lived a long way apart.
Aden observed a marked improvement as the severity and frequency of his migraines decreased almost immediately. He gained greater control over his life (previously dominated by pain) and resumed his normal daily activities. In the early stages of recovery, Aden was able to improve his sleep habits, concentration and overall anxiety level. He stayed in the country for 6 days.
The entire journey, from precise diagnosis to timely and compassionate care, included every aspect of the professional and compassionate care received throughout the experience. Aden's experience illustrates how expert evaluation, personalised treatment, and appropriate medical options can provide relief not only from debilitating migraines but also can be a journey to regain the confidence, control, and quality of life that all people desire.
