Mr. Hassan Lomax, aged at 34 from Liberia (West Africa) complaint of discomfort while passing urine and was being treated by various doctors in his native country which did not prove quite successful for him. He started searching for the various treatment options online to ease out the difficulty he was experiencing during urination and came across MediGence. It was in early June2019 when he contacted MediGence Patient Care team through Patient Support Desk.
MediGence Patient Care team addressed Mr. Lomax’s query and suggested him suitable treatment plan and destinations. Taking all the research into consideration and committed assistance by MediGence, Mr. Lomax chose Dr. S. K Rawat, Urologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, India for his treatment. Dr. Rawat is one of the senior most Urologists in Delhi and is reputed for his precision and dedication to provide immense care and education to his patients.
Process
Upon arriving in India on 25th of July 2019, Mr. Lomax was received by the Patient Care team from MediGence and was taken straight to the hospital for his first consultation. Post-consultation and initial investigations which consisted of necessary Laboratory and Radiology Investigations, Dr. Rawat prescribed a course of medicine to Mr. Lomax for 10 days to start with to increase urine pressure and flow.
After undergoing the prescribed course of treatment, Mr. Lomax’s Uroflowmetry was done 11th day again to evaluate his condition which showed considerable improvement and increase in Urine Pressure. The same was confirmed by Mr. Lomax who was delighted to receive a Conservative and definite treatment in India.
Post-Treatment
Dr. Rawat’s treatment suited Mr. Lomax and proved to be beneficial for him. He also appreciated MediGence for helping his throughout his treatment journey right from the selection of the best treatment plan until his departure. After undergoing suitable treatment and experiencing benefit from the same, Mr. Lomax left back for Liberia on the 7th of August 2019.
