Introduction

Pre-treatment and process

A few hostels were recommended to him as per his budget and the location of the hospital. He chose a hotel near to his hospital. It was within walking distance of the hospital. Mr. Sitaram traveled to Dubai on January 4, 2021. He was greeted at the airport by MediGence Team and taken straight to the pre-booked hotel. The assigned case manager ensured that the patient was provided the best facilities at the hotel. MediGence took the patient to the hospital for consultation with Dr. Areen. Mr. Sitaram’s appointment with Dr. Areen was pre-booked. During his first visit to the hospital, Mr. Sitaram met the best neurosurgeon in Dubai. Post initial checkups and examinations, the doctor told Sitaram to get a few diagnostic tests done in order to identify the underlying condition.

The assigned case manager helped Mr. Sitaram to have all suggested tests done successfully. The tests recommended by the doctor were MRI and CT scans. The doctor evaluated the test reports thoroughly and concluded that there were no major issues and no surgery was required. Dr. Areen said Mr. Sitaram’s headache and back pain resulted from the decompression of certain nerves. He suggested physiotherapy for 2-3 months and prescribed medications. Mr. Sitaram was told to come for a follow-up consultation after three months. He stayed in Dubai for 7 days and flew back to his country to continue physiotherapy.
