Qualification and Experience

Dr. Areen Said has more than 11 years of experience as a neurologist. He went onto complete his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from the University of Jordan School of Medicine in Amman. Dr. Areen Said completed his neurology residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Centre, USA. After this, he went onto join the University of Maryland School of Medicine- Maryland Centre for Multiple Sclerosis for his Multiple Sclerosis fellowship. Dr. Areen Said also completed his MD (Doctor of Medicine).

Contribution to Medical Science

Dr. Areen Said has a keen interest in headaches, migraines, epilepsy, stroke, neuromuscular diseases, multiple sclerosis, neck and back pain, movement disorders, inflammatory diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, memory loss, Parkinson's, and brain tumour. The procedures which he follows include electromyography, nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials, EEG, and botulinum toxin injections in movement disorders and spasticity. He is presently working as a neurologist in the American Hospital, Dubai, UAE.
