Introduction

Barnali Aktar, a 42-year-old Bangladeshi woman, had a brain tumor. Medical signs included nausea, sporadic convulsions, seizures, dizziness, weakness, and pain and discomfort. When looking for a health consultant online, her husband stumbled across MediGence. Additionally, he thought MediGence’s health insurance was reasonably priced and fairly comprehensive. He asked an inquiry on their website, and soon after, a MediGence employee contacted him and asked for more details. After receiving the needed data, MediGence got in touch with the patient’s father to find out more about her health issues. Then he sent them emails with details on Barnali’s case and medical records.

In order to assess and treat his wife, he was organizing a trip to India. The patient advisory panel gave him a list of the top physicians and medical facilities in India. Dr. Hrishikesh Sarkar of the Madras Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology (MIOT) in Chennai, India, was the doctor the patient’s husband selected to see.

With more than 20 years of expertise, Dr. Hrishikesh Sarkar is a neurosurgeon and vascular surgeon. Originally an orthopedics facility, it is currently a multispecialty facility that also offers services in neurosurgery, cardiology, thoracic and cardiovascular care, nephrology, cancer, knee and hip replacements, plastic surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, craniofacial and cosmetic surgery, and other fields. The hospital has won numerous honors, such as the Niryat Shree Gold Award in 2002 and 2009, the FIEO Niryat Shree Bronze Trophy in 2008, and the FIEO Southern Region Export Excellence Award in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015–2016.

Pre-Treatment and Surgical Procedure

A MediGence patient manager assisted in facilitating the hospital’s invitation for a visa. The process of applying for and receiving the visa was quick. According to his spending limit, the patient’s father picked the MediGence-recommended hotel. On 23 April 2022, Mrs. Barnali and her husband arrived in India. The MediGence Team met them at the airport and made all of the preparations for their lodging. The designated case manager made sure the patient had access to the hotel’s top amenities. Dr. Hrishikesh Sarkar’s consultation with the patient took place in the hospital thanks to MediGence. The doctor’s appointment was scheduled in advance. Mrs. Barnali and her husband met the doctor and the medical staff on the day of their arrival.

t underwent all required examinations. As a result, the doctors were better able to assess the condition and come up with a suitable treatment plan. After carefully reviewing the test findings, the doctor decided that the treatment may move forward. Mrs. Barnali was given a five-day hospital stay and was urged by the doctor to stay in the nation for 7 days. Her treatment was comfortable because of the attentive care given by the hospital staff, the frequent observation, and the better care.

Post Treatment
