Dr Carles is a well experienced and skilled oncologist in Spain. He has over 25 years of experience as an oncologist. His area of interests includes clinical genitourinary oncology, sarcoma and early and translational clinical research in genetic polymorphisms. Dr.Carles graduated from the Universidad de Barcelona and pursued hid PhD from the same university. Currently, he is the Head of the Genitourinary, CNS and Sarcoma Tumors Program.

Dr Carles is a pioneer in the field of oncology in Spain. He coordinates multicentre national clinical trials for new drugs in the treatment of prostate, kidney and bladder cancer. Dr Carles has authored approximately more than 70 articles in reputed journals and more than 100 presentations in congresses and book chapters. He is co-founder and secretary of the Spanish Society for the Treatment of Genitourinary Cancer (SOGUG).
