Dr. Mukut Minz is an expert in performing organ transplant surgery including liver, kidney, and pancreas. His specialization is in organ retrieval from the cadaver which sometimes involves a complex procedure. He was the pioneer in setting up the department of Kidney transplant surgery in PGIMER, Chandigarh and has done more than 3300 kidney transplant surgeries. His areas of services include vascular surgery for portal hypertension, renovascular hypertension surgery, immunosuppressive transplants, and kidney transplant in the abnormal bladder- augmentation cystoplasty. He is an esteemed member of the Indian Medical Association, Association of Surgeons of India, and Indian Society of Organ Transplantation.
