He was the pioneer in setting up the department of Kidney transplant surgery in PGIMER, Chandigarh and has done more than 3300 kidney transplant surgeries. His areas of services include vascular surgery for portal hypertension, renovascular hypertension surgery, immunosuppressive transplants, and kidney transplant in the abnormal bladder- augmentation cystoplasty.
