Dr. Osama Alharastani holds more than 10 years of experience in the field of urology. In the year 2002, he graduated (M.D) from the University of Damascus. After this, in the year 2007, he completed his M.Sc. in Urology from the Damascus University Hospitals. Dr. Osama Alharastani received a fellowship from the Arab Board of urology in the year 2008. Finally, he completed his Ph.D. in female urology from the University of Damascus in the year 2012.
Though Dr. Osama Alharastani’s main area of specialization lies in female urology he has a keen interest in ensuring male sexual health, performing penile surgeries and solving general urological issues. Dr. Osama Alharastani mainly treats female urological issues like stress incontinence and vaginal sling surgeries. At the same time, he also holds experience in treating minimally invasive surgeries for the management of urinary stones, endoscopic surgeries, and lithotripsy. At the same time, he also owns to his credit various memberships like the Syrian Medical Association, European Association of Urology (EAU), Syria Association of Urology, Arab Association of Urology, Emirates Urological Society and Societe international Urologie (SIU).
