In 1992, Dr. Oswal went onto complete his MBBS in Medicine from the B.J. Medical College, India. In 1998, he completed his D Pared in Medicine from Gujarat University. In 2000, he obtained an MD (Doctor of Medicine) from Gujarat University, India. In 2002, he completed his Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology in Medicine from the Madras Medical Mission, Madras, India.
