Dr. Kevin Tay

Qualification and Experience

• Dr. Kevin Tay is a respected consultant medical oncologist at Oncocare Cancer Center, with a visiting consultant role at the National Cancer Center Singapore. He earned his medical degree from the National University of Singapore, School of Medicine, and later, he went on to complete his post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Tay further specialized in Medical Oncology through a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, USA, where he is now doubly certified by the American Board in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
• During his time at NCI, Dr. Tay collaborated with eminent researchers such as Dr. Louis Staudt, Dr. Wyndham Wilson, and Dr. Elaine Jaffe. Their work focused on the tumor biology of aggressive lymphomas, positioning Dr. Tay within an internationally acclaimed research team.
• Since 2010, Dr. Tay has been actively involved in lymphoma translational research. He is a key contributor to the National Cancer Center's core research group, which was awarded a prestigious center grant by the National Medical Research Council of Singapore. He also contributed to a groundbreaking discovery of a novel mutation in NK/T-cell lymphoma, a finding that was highlighted in the Straits Times and published in the Cancer Discovery Journal.
