Dr. Vikas Jain is one of the most renowned & highly experienced Urologists in Delhi. Dr. Jain holds a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience in the field of Urology & Renal Transplants. Dr. Vikas Jain completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, MAHE. Later, he obtained his urological and transplant training from the prestigious Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad in Gujarat. Dr. Jain didn’t stop here, he decided to pursue an additional Diploma in Renal transplantation science from the University of Liverpool, UK. Furthermore, he received training in deceased donor renal transplantation at Fundacio Puigvert in Barcelona, Spain. 

Considering his past experiences, Dr. Vikas Jain was previously working with Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. After working 2 years at Fortis and having gained experience of close to 500 renal transplants, he started Urology and Renal Transplant Services at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi. Dr. Jain has also worked extremely well with several prestigious hospitals or medical centers in the country including  AIIMS, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, and Narayana Health.

• As the first Indian to get a scholarship from the European Association of Urology (EUSP), Dr. Jain traveled to Spain to receive training in renal transplants from deceased donors.
• Dr. Jain conducted more than 500 renal transplants while working at ILBS, and created a record of performing four back-to-back transplants in less than 36 hours.
• He has managed to accomplish many firsts, including the retrieval of both kidneys from a 16-months old non-heart-beating donor (NHBD) and successfully transplanting in two patients. The first-ever NHBD in Delhi/NCR. 
• Dr. Jain has a distinguished academic background and a long list of honors to his name. The "Prof C K P Menon Best Paper Award" was one of the most esteemed honors he was bestowed with. 
• He independently started his First and still the only, Renal transplant and Urology department in a Delhi Government hospital. In under 5 years, under his energizing direction, the department rose to prominence as a "center of excellence" for minimally invasive urology and kidney transplant.
