Qualification and Experience

Dr. V. Narayanan Unni is an experienced nephrologist in Kochi. He has clinical experience of more than 30 years. He is presently practicing as Senior Consultant, Nephrology at Aster Medcity Hospital, Kochi. Dr. Narayanan Unni is also the Director of Academic Affairs of Aster Medcity. He was previously associated with Dammam Central Hospital, Dammam, Saudi Arabia as consultant Nephrology and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi as HOD and Consultant Nephrology. He completed his MBBS from Calicut Medical College. Later he obtained his MD in Internal Medicine from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He was awarded DM in Nephrology by the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He passed DNB in nephrology conducted by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He was also awarded Fellowship by Glasgow, UK and received Fellowship from the Indian Society of Nephrology. He received 6 Gold Medals in MBBS.
