Dr. Sameer Mahrotra

• Dr. Sameer Mehrotra is an Int Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist having 21+ years Of experience. He passed his MBBS in 1998 from the Institute of Medical Sciences Banaras Hindu University followed by MD Internal Medicine IMS–BHU in 2002 and DM Cardiology from AIIMS New Delhi in 2009.
• Dr. Mehrotra focuses on Rheumatic Heart Disease, Coronary Angioplasty, Bypass Surgery, and Coronary Angiography. He is well-trained in Pacemaker Implantation and conversant in Hypertension treatment.
• He is conversant with ECG Electrophysiology and doing angiography via the Radial technique. Dr. Mehrotra deals with several cases relating to the heart such as Tachycardia, Bradycardia, and Coronary Artery Disease.
• The accomplishment is his interaction with quinine for the treatment of electrical storms in a child with Brugada syndrome which was published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology in 2011.
• He was a Co-Investigator in a number of international clinical trials for example the Attain Success Study, PANORAMA Study, SureScan (PAS) Study, and PainFree SST Clinical Studies on Smart Shock technology.
• Dr. Mehrotra is well-trained in primary and elective angioplasties, diagnostic electrophysiology, and independent ablation operations. He dedicated particular interest to scar VT and AF ablation by familiarizing himself with an independent implantation of all devices; CRT-D.
• Some of his research papers are review articles on Hypertensive Crisis published in the Indian Heart Journal in 2010; Vulnerable Plaque and Advanced Therapy for Refractory Heart Failure article in CSI Update in 2009; and Prevention of Vertical Transmission of HIV.
• Dr. Mehrotra currently is committed as the Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, and Jaypee Hospital, Sector 128.
• He has been working as a Consultant in Cardiology at Medanta-The Medicity, Gurgaon also working as a Senior Consultant at Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute, Delhi, India.
