Dr. Mohit Sharma is an eminent plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than 20 years of experience under his belt. He has expertise in employing microvascular techniques for treating complicated reconstructive problems. Dr. Sharma completed his MBBS from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, Rajasthan. After finishing his MBBS, he pursued his MS in General Surgery from the same college. This was followed by an MCh in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India. In addition to completing his training in India,
Dr. Sharma ventured abroad to gain expertise in hand surgery. He finished a Hand Surgery Fellowship at St. Andrew’s Center for Plastic Surgery in Chelmsford, UK, one of the largest reconstructive surgery and burns units in the UK. Since he completed his observerships under the guidance of several leading plastic and reconstructive surgeons, Dr. Sharma has a thorough understanding of personalizing care plans for his patients and performing surgeries efficiently. His areas of core competencies include diabetic foot reconstruction, rhinoplasty, ear reconstruction, surgery for the palate and cleft lip, nasal reconstruction, and head and neck reconstruction for benign and malignant defects.
