Dr. Choi He Rion

Qualification and Experience

With extensive educational training, Dr. Choi He Rion is a committed specialist in endocrine surgery. She earned a Master of Medicine from Daegu Catholic University College of Medicine after completing her Doctor of Medicine degree at Yonsei University College of Medicine.

At Nowon Eulji Hospital, where she is an Assistant Professor of Breast Endocrine Surgery, she is currently involved in clinical practice and medical teaching. In addition, she contributes to the improvement of surgical methods and patient care at Yonsei University Sinchon Severance Hospital as a Clinical Research Assistant Professor in Endocrine Surgery.

Besides her academic responsibilities, Dr. Choi He Rion is an active contributor to the development of endocrine surgery as the clinical instructor of breast endocrine surgery at Daegu Catholic University Hospital. As such, she is closely engaged in the training of medical students, resident doctors, and young surgeons. Dr. Choi fosters close communication, ethical practice, advocacy for patients’ overall well-being, and logical decision-making that may be involved in decision-making about a patient.

The Korean Thyroid Society, the Korean Society of Thyroid and Endocrine Surgery, the Korean Society of Surgical Ultrasound, the Korean Society of Surgical Oncology, and the Korean Surgical Society are just a few of the professional societies in which Dr. Choi He Rion

is actively involved. His involvement in these groups demonstrates his dedication to remaining up-to-date with industry developments and supporting the further growth of endocrine surgery in South Korea.
