Dr. Tapan Ghose

Qualification and Experience

Dr. Tapan is the experienced cardiologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS in 1988 from Silchar Medical College, Assam. Later on, in 1993, he obtained his degree of MD in medicine from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh. He passed DNB in Cardiology in the year 2001. He is the Director, Cardiology at Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital, Vasant Kunj. He is also associated with Paras hospital as a director of interventional cardiology. In 1988, Dr. Tapan was the recipient of Dr. Anjan Chakravarty Memorial Medal for highest marks in medicine.

Contribution to Medical Science

Awarded with Cardiologist of the Year in 2014 by Indian Health Care Summit, Dr. Tapan is one of the finest cardiologists in northern India. His achievements are both in the academic as well as a clinical practice field. Dr. Tapan is actively involved in Medical research. He is an expert in cardiac electrophysiology and coronary intervention. He has written chapters in various books related to cardiology and is also the author of Handbook of lipidology. Dr. Tapan is the fellow of International Medical Sciences Academy and is the member of various reputed organizations such as National Academy of Medical Sciences.
