Qualification and Experience

Dr. Sandeep is one of the most eminent Cardiothoracic surgeons in Northern India. He has more than 22 years of experience and conducted more than 9000 cardiac surgeries. He completed his MBBS from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences, Kerala, and from the same institute he obtained his MS in General Surgery and M. Ch in Cardiovascular Surgery. During his illustrious career, he has been associated with various reputed hospitals including Apollo Hospital, Dhaka, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Jaipur, Global Hospital Group Chennai, and Fortis Hospital, Gurugram.

Contribution to Medical Science

Dr. Sandeep is currently in the Gleneagles Hospital looking after Division of Cardiac Surgery, Solid thoracic organ transplant and Mechanical Circulatory support as a Cahir and Program Director. Area of expertise of Dr. Sandeep are open and closed heart surgeries, Left ventricular assist device implants, and Lung and Heart Transplantation in adults. He is also an active member of the European Association of cardio-thoracic surgery, Minimally Invasive Robotic Association, International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, and Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Sandeep is also on the editorial board of the Journal of Thoracic Disease.
