Qualification and Experience

Dr. Pradeep Chand Sukumaran Nair has more than 18 years of experience as a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon. He went onto complete his Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from the Medical College of Baroda, India. In addition to this, he went onto complete his M.Ch in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery from the Medical College of Trivandrum.

Contribution to Medical Science

Dr. Pradeep Chand has attained boundless knowledge in cardiothoracic surgeries; therefore, his interest lies in treating beating heart (off-pump) coronary artery bypass graft surgery with total arterial grafts. At the same time, his expertise lies in treating septal defects, valve surgeries, harvesting skeletonised LIMA, RIMA, Radial artery, and saphenous vein and Redo-sternotomy, thoracotomy and closure of chest at regular intervals. Apart from all these, Dr. Pradeep Chand Sukumaran also practises the breadth of cardiothoracic surgeries, varying from different kinds of valve surgeries, septal defects, Maze and ross operations along with minimally invasive cardiac processes for both valve and CABG surgeries. Dr. Pradeep Chand has worked with numerous reputed private hospitals in various countries. At present, he is working with the NMC Royal Hospital, DIP, Dubai, UAE as a Consultant in cardiothoracic surgeon.
