Qualification and Experience

• Dr.Orcum CeliK graduated from Istanbul University’s cerrahpasa faculty of medicine in 2004.
• He served five consecutive years (2004-2009) as a urologist at Akdeniz University.
• He finished his training in urology at the University of North Carolina in 2017 after completing his studies in laparoscopic surgery at the University of Leipzig in 2015.
• In the year 2017, He was appointed as an Associate Professor at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital.
• His professional practice involves the use of robotic and laparoscopic surgery techniques, with a focus on urological cancer surgery. He is a member of the Association of Urological Surgery, European Urology, and Turkish Urology Association.
• Since 2018, He has been holding the European Urology Specialist Diploma from the Fellow of the European Board of Urology,(FEBU).
• In the current year(2023), he was awarded the title of Professor.till now more than 175 scientific articles have been published in domestic and foreign scientific journals.

Dr.Orcum Celik has made several significant contributions to the field of bladder surgeries. Some of the contributions he has made to research are as:

• The efficacy and safety of bilateral same-session ureteroscopy with holmium laser lithotripsy in the treatment of bilateral ureteral stones.
• The visual clarity of irrigants used during flexible ureterorenoscopy: an in vitro comparison.
• Predictive Effect of Preoperative Anemia on Long-Term Survival Outcomes with Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer.
