Qualification and Experience of Dr. Hitesh Dawar 

Dr. Hitesh Dawar has more than 10 years of experience as an orthopedic oncosurgeon. He can provide comprehensive treatment for bone and soft tissue tumors. Besides his expertise in cancer care, Dr. Hitesh Dawar is also capable of treating various joint and bone infections. He is well-regarded for his use of evidence-based medicine and patient-centric approach to treating patients. At present, he is the Consultant of Orthopedic Onco surgery at Max SuperSpecialty Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, India. Prior to becoming a part of Max Hospital, he worked at some of the most eminent hospitals in India. He was the Consultant of Orthopedic Oncosurgery at the Indian Spinal Injuries Center, New Delhi(2014-2022). Dr. Hitesh Dawar also worked as a Senior resident, Bone and tissue services, Surgical Oncology, at Tata Memorial Hospital(Mumbai) and Senior resident, in Orthopedics, at Indian Spinal Injuries Center, New Delhi, India.  After completing his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Dr. Hitesh Dawar obtained a DNB in Orthopedics from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He also holds fellowships in orthopedic oncology from the Gujarat Cancer research institute( Ahmedabad, 2013) and Rizzoli Institute of Orthopedics(Italy, 2014). His other International training includes the Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Oncology, at Queen’s Mary Hospital(Hong Kong, 2015), a Fellowship in the Division of Spine Tumors, at the National Center for Spinal Disorders( Hungary, 2015), and a Post-graduate fellowship in Joint reconstruction and Tumors at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney, 2020). Dr. Hitesh Dawar is competent in providing treatment for both metastatic and primary tumors of the spine, soft tissues, and bone.  He has excellent surgical skills and is well-known for his exceptional manual dexterity. These qualities lead him to perform multistage surgeries for complex joint revisions and orthopedic cases flawlessly. Dr. Hitesh Dawar also performs surgeries for managing joint and bone infections and chronic osteomyelitis.
