Qualification and Experience

Dr. Shameema Anvarsadath is a renowned gynecologist in Southern India. She is an experienced gynecologist with experience of more than 16 years. She is currently providing her esteemed services at Aster Medicity Hospital Kochi as a Senior Gynecology Consultant. Dr. Shameema has also been associated with various hospitals of repute. He had worked with Al Sabah Maternity Hospital, Kuwait as Senior Consultant, Gynecology and obstetrics, and was also a Consultant Gynecology and obstetrics at St. Vincent De Paul Hospital, Thrissur. She also worked as a Tutor in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait. Dr. Shameema completed her MBBS – Government Medical College, Thrissur. Later, she completed MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry. She also passed DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. She was also awarded a fellowship from the International College of Robotic Surgeons. De. Shameema had also undergone training in robotic surgery and laparoscopic surgery. She had also received training in advanced life support in Obstetrics and advanced training in assisted reproductive technology.

Dr. Shameema is an experienced gynecologist with high expertise in infertility treatment. She is highly skilled in performing various minimally invasive surgeries for treating infertility. She is an expert in various fertility-preserving procedures such as myomectomies, hysterectomies, and endometriosis. Apart from the surgical interventions, Dr. Shameema also treats various gynecological conditions such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, menstrual disorders, and hormonal problems. She has presented papers at various national and international conferences. She is an esteemed member of various organizations such as the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, United Kingdom, and National Academy of Medical Sciences.
