With over 30 years of experience, Dr. S.C. Sood is a highly-regarded aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon. Throughout his illustrious career, he has performed surgeries as per the requirements of the patient. His surgeries have left patients satisfied with the results of the procedure. Dr. S.C . Sood has expertise in performing different types of cosmetic procedures to improve the appearance of the patient’s body and face. He can also perform reconstructive surgery for cleft lip and palate repair, injuries, trauma, and congenital defects. He has extensive experience as a plastic surgeon and was employed as a Consultant of Plastic surgery at some of the most recognized hospitals in India. These include the Jaipur Golden Hospital(Delhi), Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, and  Sant Parmanand Hospital. Currently, Dr. S.C. Sood is a Senior Consultant of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Max Super Specialty Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, India.  Dr. S.C. Sood first obtained his MBBS from King George’s Medical University(Lucknow). To develop his understanding of surgical sciences, he pursued a postgraduate course, MS in General Surgery from the same institute. This was followed by an M.Ch in Plastic Surgery from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.  Dr. S.C. Sood is proficient in performing microvascular surgery and aesthetic surgery. Some of the procedures which he can perform efficiently include buttock implant, facelift, hair replacement, and leucoderma treatment. He has executed more than 2200 cleft palate and lip surgeries in association with the World’s largest Cleft Charity, Smile Train.

Dr. S.C. Sood has made significant strides in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Some of his contributions and accomplishments are:

• Dr. S.C. Sood is a member of prestigious bodies like the Delhi Medical Association and the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. As a part of these bodies, he participates in organizing training sessions and workshops in Plastic Surgery. He also disseminates information about Plastic surgery to other plastic surgeons and members of the medical community. 
• He was the course convenor of the Aesthetic Rhinoplasty and Sinoplasty Conference held at Sant Parmanand Hospital. He also led the workshop on Advances in Cleft Surgery conducted by Sant Parmanand Hospital in 2011.
