Dr. Devajyoti Guin

• Dr. Devajyoti is a highly accomplished plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon who specializes in hand surgery, brachial plexus injuries, and oncoplastic (cancer reconstruction) surgery. He has vast experience treating severe reconstructive disorders such as trauma, nerve damage, congenital malformations, and post-cancer reconstruction with modern microsurgical techniques.
• He earned his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, followed by a General Surgery residency and superspecialization in Plastic Surgery and Burns at the reputed St. John's Medical College in Bengaluru. To hone his skills, he completed a one-year fellowship in Oncoplastic Reconstructive Microsurgery at Tata Medical Center in Kolkata, where he also taught before joining Amrita Hospital in Kochi, and then Amrita Hospital in Faridabad.
• Dr. Devajyoti received the coveted Ganga Hospital and Johnson & Johnson Fellowship in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery in 2019. He is profoundly committed to restoring form and function, particularly in adult and pediatric brachial plexus injuries, peripheral nerve palsies, and complex hand disorders. His patient-centered approach focuses on functional recovery, aesthetic restoration, and long-term quality of life.
• In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Devajyoti is interested in academic innovation and medical education. He is the creator of PlaRecon, an instructional plastic surgery platform, and a digital medical illustrator who has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journal publications, including the Journal of Hand Surgery.

After finishing his residency at Tata Medical Center in Kolkata, he joined the faculty and contributed to both clinical treatment and academic teaching.
• He later joined Amrita Hospital in Kochi and now practices at Amrita Hospital in Faridabad, where he oversees severe reconstructive cases involving trauma, cancer, and nerve injuries. His responsibilities include multidisciplinary collaboration with oncology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation departments to provide holistic patient care.
