Dr. Aadil Khan

• Dr Aadil Khan is a highly respected Consultant Plastic Surgeon based in London, specialising in breast reconstruction and augmentation, microsurgery, lymphoedema surgery, body contouring, aesthetic surgery, and skin cancer management.
• He combines reconstructive and aesthetic expertise to provide advanced surgical care for both cancer and non-cancer patients.
• Dr Khan graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford, and completed his specialist training in Plastic Surgery within the London Deanery.
• He further advanced his academic and clinical expertise with a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard University and a PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research, London, where he conducted pioneering research in breast implant capsule biology, post-radiotherapy fibrosis, and microsurgical interventions for lymphoedema.
• He holds a Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has been on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery since 2018. He is also a member of BAPRAS and BAAPS.
• Dr Khan’s clinical practice spans The Royal Marsden Hospital, King Edward VII’s Hospital, and The London Clinic, where he performs over 200 reconstructive procedures and more than 60 complex microsurgical operations annually.
• His expertise includes lymphaticovenous anastomosis (LVA), vascularised lymph node transfer (VLNT), autologous breast reconstruction (DIEP, TMG), and complex cancer reconstruction.
• In addition to his clinical work, Dr Khan is academically active, serving as the chief investigator of the BASILICA breast implant capsule biobanking study, leading clinical trials in lymphoedema surgery, and supervising PhD students.
• His research has resulted in high-impact publications, international lectures, and leadership roles on trial steering committees, contributing to innovations in cancer survivorship and microsurgical reconstruction.
• Dr Khan is recognised internationally for his expertise, clinical leadership, and research contributions, making him a leading authority in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery.
