Dr. Sushil Azad

• Dr. Sushil Azad is a pediatric cardiologist with experience of more than 19 years. He provides high-quality, individualized, and current continuance of care. He has a special focus on congenital heart disease.
• He has received his MBBS from Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak. He studied for an MD in Pediatrics at Pt. J.L. Nehru Medical College in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
• To get the knowledge of pediatric heart-related conditions Dr. Azad attended several training programs. He also had a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Medicine from Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai. He did a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Escorts Heart Institute and Research Institute, New Delhi.
• He has a particular interest in newer methodologies of handling pediatric and congenital cardiac diseases.
• He is a specialist in the management of arrhythmias; he also offers pediatric cardiac intensive care. He performs fetal echocardiogram and CATH lab.
• Dr. Azad has set up the Pediatric cardiology program and DNB Pediatric cardiology program at Medanta-the Medicity, Gurgaon.
• He began the Percutaneous Pulmonary Valve Implantation Program at Fortis Escorts Hospital Delhi. He often presents his research findings at national and international conferences in terms of talks and lectures.
• He delivered an oral presentation at the Annual conference of Pediatric Car Dic Society of India in 2007, APCASH Hong Kong 2012 and presented a poster in APPCS 2016. Dr. Azad has conducted workshops to teach Pediatric Echocardiography on the state and national levels.
