  • Prof. Dr. Fazilet Altın is an experienced Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgery specialist with extensive clinical, academic, teaching, and research experience.
  • She completed her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine through its six-year English-language medical program and subsequently completed her ENT residency at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine.
  • After completing her specialty training, she served at Sivas Numune Hospital as part of her compulsory service. She later pursued an academic career in Otorhinolaryngology and was appointed to Sivas Cumhuriyet University; however, due to family reasons, she did not take up the position and subsequently applied for internal appointments.
  • In 2011, she joined Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital, where she worked in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology until 2022. During this period, she actively contributed to the education and training of numerous ENT residents.
  • While working at Haseki Training and Research Hospital, she further developed her expertise in thyroid surgery through specialized courses and training programs beyond the scope of her residency education.
  • She was awarded the title of Associate Professor on 24 November 2021.
  • Since 17 October 2022, she has been working at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.
  • Her clinical interests cover a broad range of ENT and Head & Neck conditions, including rhinology, rhinoplasty, sinus surgery, otology, vestibular disorders, thyroid and head & neck surgery, laryngology, sleep-related disorders, salivary gland diseases, and pediatric ENT procedures.
