Dr. Carmelo Barbaccia is an ENT specialist with more than 25 years of experience in his field. Between 1983 to 1994. He completed his medical training from the Universita Di Palermo specializing in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Barbaccia keen interest lies in head and neck and thyroid cancer. Between the years 2001 and 2004 he started off with his career as a Dirigente Medico in the IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori Foundation, Milan, Italy. After that, Dr. Barbaccia started working as an ENT head and neck consultant at Midway, Gillingham between the year 2004 and 2012. During the time period 2007 and 2012 he started working as an ENT head and neck consultant at the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, East Grinstead. At the American Hospital, Dubai, UAE Dr. Barbaccia started working as an ENT neck and head surgeon from the year 2012 and continues to date. In addition to this post, he has also taken up another post namely the Chief of Department of Surgery between 2013 to 2018.
