Dr. Sudhir Kumar completed his MBBS in 1972 from IMS, Banaras Hindu University. He pursued an advanced degree in orthopedics and completed MS in orthopedics in 1976 from IMS, Banaras Hindu University. In 1985, he obtained his M.Ch. in orthopedics from the University of Liverpool. Dr. Sudhir is one of the most experienced surgeons in the country with over 40 years of experience. He has been associated with various renowned hospitals and institutions such as School of Medical Sciences, University Sains Malaysia, Dr. S.N Medical College & M.G. Hospital and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. Currently, he is the Professor and HOD of orthopedics at Sharda Hospital.
Dr. Sudhir Kumar has vast Professional experience and also been involved in academics, nationally as well as Internationally. Dr. Sudhir was on various prestigious positions in his career as he was the secretary and vice-president of Delhi orthopedics association and he was also the Editor of Indian Journal of Orthopedics. His area of interest includes Allogenic bone banking, spinal surgery, repair and regeneration of bone and joint replacement surgeries. More than 50 research papers authored and co-authored by Dr. Sudhir are published in various journals.
