Dr. Puneet Dilawari is a reputed doctor in the field of orthopedic surgery. In 1989, he obtained his degree of MBBS from the University of Kashmir. After that, in 1995, Dr. Dilawari obtained his diploma in orthopedics from Gazi Medical College. Dr. Dilawari has also passed DNB-orthopedics and orthopedic surgery in 1995. With more than 18 years of experience and currently working as Senior Orthopedic consultant in Metro hospital, Dr. Dilawari is also associated with BL Kapoor Hospital, Moolchand Hospital, and Fortis Hospital. In 1999, he completed his M.Ch. in Orthopedics from the University of Dundee, U.K, and 2001, from the University of Dundee, he was awarded FICS.
Dr. Puneet Dilawari is associated with various organizations such as the Indian Medical Association, Indian Orthopedic Association, and Indian Arthroscopy Society. He was amongst the first person who performed revision elbow replacement surgery and Dr. Dilawari has the credit of the first surgeon in North India to perform Resurfacing Shoulder Replacement. Dr. Dilawari has gained special expertise in performing spine surgery and joint reconstruction. He has published various papers in journals of repute and also written the chapter of books related to orthopedic surgery.
