In 2004, Dr. Balci earned his professional education at the Faculty of Medicine, Surgical Sciences, Istanbul University in Turkey.
His thesis was on the relationship of posterior arthroscopy portals with anatomical structures according to ankle position (Cadaver study) in 2010.
At present, Dr. Balci has been an Associate Professor at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgical Medicine, Istanbul University since 2017.
He was also the Deputy Chief Physician at Istanbul University from 2017 to 2019.
