Qualifications and Experience

Dr. B Chokkalingam has obtained his MBBS degree from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 1981, D. Ortho from Kilpauk Medical College in 1988 and MS (ortho) from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai in 1993. MCh (ortho), an advanced degree in orthopedics, was awarded to Dr. Chokkalingam by Dundee University, Scotland in 1997. He has almost 30 years of experience in orthopedic surgery and has developed a special interest in Arthritis management, joint dislocation, knee osteotomy, spinal fusion, and hip resurfacing.

Dr. B Chokkalingam is an expert in orthopedic and spinal surgery. He is a consultant at Apollo hospital, Bangalore. He is a member of Indian Orthopedic Association, Tamil Nadu Medical Council and Tamil Nadu Orthopedic Association. Dr. Chokkalingam has done a number of surgeries including complex cases related to knee braces for osteoarthritis, arthroscopy, and spinal fusion.
