Qualification and Experience

Dr.Ioannis is a highly successful and distinguished Orthopedic surgeon in Greece. He graduated from  the "CAROL DAVILA" University of medicine and pharmacy,Bucharest. He did his Master’s Degree in the Faculty of Health & Caring Professions. He was awarded Doctorate from the Democritus University. He specialized in Pediatrics Orthopedic surgery from Children's Hospital "Aglaia Kyriakou". He  is also trained in Thoracic Surgery at the Sotiria General Hospital of Thoracic Diseases of Athens. He also specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology ,Arthroscopy & Shoulder Surgery from the General Hospital. He has specialized in Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Total Knee Replacement and is one of the first surgeons in Greece to perform a Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery.Currently he is the Orthopaedic Surgeon & Sports Physician and  the Assoc. Manager III Orthopedic Clinic Hospital. He is also a Professor at Democritus University of Thrace

Dr.Ioannis is not only an eminent Orthopedic surgeon but also  an outstanding researcher.He has led and assisted nearly 200 researches in his career. He has been the scientific co-director in the research on Biomechanical Study of the Musculoskeletal System, General Hospital.
