With more than 15 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Bobby Jacob is currently working as a Senior Consultant at Aster Medicity. Dr. Bobby has completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam. Later on, he obtained a Diploma in Orthopedics from Government Medical College, Kottayam. Dr. Bobby had done MS in Orthopedics from Government Medical College, Kottayam. He was awarded a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in Trauma and Orthopedics. Dr. Bobby has worked with various premier hospitals in India and abroad such as Wansbeck General Hospital, England, St John’s Hospital, Kattapana and KIMS Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram.

Dr. Jacob has trained orthopedics in complex polytrauma, knee and joint replacement and sports injury. He has a special interest in complex fractures, labral injuries, comprehensive management of shoulder instability, rotator cuff problems and SLAP tears. He has also undergone a 4 years of specialized training in shoulder, knee and elbow soft tissues.
