Qualification and Experience

Presently working as an orthopedic consultant at the Center for Bone and Joint in Sarvodaya Hospital and Research Centre, Dr. Ashish Tomar has performed a large number of spine surgeries with a high success rate. Dr. Ashish has completed his MBBS in 2010 from the University of Delhi (UCMS) and obtained his MS in orthopedics from the University of Delhi (UCMS) in 2013. He was also awarded a fellowship in spine surgery in 2014. After doing his senior residency at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, he went to Japan for a fellowship in Cervical Spine Surgery & Deformity Correction at Sapporo Orthopedic Hospital under the guidance of Dr. K. Abumi.

Within a very short period, Dr. Ashish has more than 1000 spine surgeries under his credit and that too with an exceptionally high success rate. He is a member of the Association of Spine Surgery India, Indian Orthopedic Association and Indian Medical Association. He has also presented research papers at various conferences.
