Qualification and Experience

Dr. Vikas Gupte has more than 24 years of experience along with the majority of the experience in spine surgery. He is currently working as Consultant, Neuro & Spine Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Mulund. Before joining Fortis, Dr. Gupte was associated with M.T. Agarwal Municipal General Hospital, Mumbai., and Pragati Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Vikas completed his MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai in the year 1982. From the same institute, in 1988, he obtained his degree in MS in Orthopedics. He was awarded clinical fellowship by Wooridul Spine Hospital, Seoul, Korea in minimally invasive & endoscopic spine surgery and he had done Observership in spine surgery at Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, Canada.

Apart from performing various complex neurosurgeries, Dr. Vikas has attended several conferences and seminars and presented research papers. His research articles have been published in various journals. He has also undergone fellowship training in spine surgery in Japan.
