Qualification and Experience

Dr. Sandeep Vaishya is an internationally reputed neurosurgeon based in the NCR region with more than 22 years of experience. He is currently working as Executive Direction, Neurosurgery at Fortis Research Institute, Gurugram, India. Dr. Vaishya has completed his MBBS from G R Medical College, Gwalior. Later, from the same institute, he completed his MS in General Surgery. Dr. Sandeep was awarded an advanced degree in M.Ch. in neurosurgery by AIIMS Delhi. Before Fortis, he was providing his services as Head of neurosurgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket, New Delhi. Dr. Sandeep was also the Professor at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Contribution to Medical Science

Dr. Sandeep is one of those few neurosurgeons in the world who has expertise in performing surgery for brachial plexus injuries. He is also the renowned surgeon in South East Asia for Gamma Knife Surgery. He is the recipient of Herbert Krause Medal and as also awarded Sundt Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, USA.
