Dr. Vinod Puri is a well-trained and experienced neurologist with 47 years of experience. He has worked at numerous hospitals and clinics in the country. His work is well recognized among his peers and he is widely regarded as an “expert” with vast knowledge about neurology. Throughout his career, he has handled many complex cases. Yet, he has always delivered his services with the same finesse. He is a senior consultant and Professor at Neuraxis DBS care. His dedication to Epilepsy has fetched him immense prestige. He was previously associated with Max SuperSpecialty Hospital, New Delhi, India. His interests include Epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, stroke, and muscle and nerve disorders.

He received his MBBS from the University of Kashmir. Following his undergraduate studies, he completed an MD in Pediatrics at Punjab University. Afterward, he decided to follow his passion for neurology and enrolled for a DM in Neurology at the University of Delhi in India. This superspecialization course paved the way for his career as a neurologist. He gained the skills and knowledge required to diagnose and treat neurological disorders. After this stint as a student, he finally established himself as an independent specialist in the field of neurology. He used his training to provide precise diagnoses and solutions for his patients’ problems.

• Dr. Vinod Puri has been the guiding light for many junior doctors and has trained several junior neurologists as a Professor at many renowned medical schools all over the world. He was the head of the neurology department at SSPH & PGTI. He was also a professor at Indiana University Medical School, Indiana, USA, and the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA.
• He is also dedicated to research on Epilepsy and its treatment. Dr. Vinod Puri has conducted extensive clinical research on the disease as part of the Epilepsy Program at G.B.Pant Hospital, New Delhi. His research has resulted in over 1000 publications in various peer-reviewed journals. Some of his publications include:
